Submit forms online and avoid penalties.

REMINDER: By filing your returns online using Sage Instant Payroll or Sage 50 Payroll you can reduce the associated administrative tasks while ensuring peace of mind that the process is secure. Products such as Sage Instant Payroll and Sage 50 Payroll  include inbuilt features that allow returns to be submitted to HMRC online directly from the software. Moreover, by filing online you will avoid costly fines.

So, who should submit what?

50 or more employees- submit both year end and in-year forms (P45 part 1 and part 3, P46 and P46 (pen) to HMRC online.

Fewer than 50 employees- submit year end forms online starting with 2009/2010 return. Submit in-year forms online from 6th April 2011.
